Looking
Forward to the 2004 Season .......

Willis
Racing is definitely ready for a fun filled 2004 season. The
team plans to participate in the Championship Bracket Racing
Series at Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL which
is scheduled to start March 26, 2004. The series meets almost
every Friday night and runs through the beginning of September.
At this
point it is up in the air if the team will make it to the
first AMA Prostar event in Gainesville, FL., March 6-7. Work
schedules permitting the team will make it to as many motorcycle
events as possible this year. They plan to get to a few 2
Wheel Speed events, a few MIRock events and a few Prostar
Events.
Janie,
well Charles, has made a few modification to the ZX9R from
last season and she can’t wait to test them out. Janie will
race the GIR Series in the Street Bike category along with
Charles on his 2002 Silver Hayabusa. Janie will continue to
make test passes on the 02 Silver Hayabusa during Test and
Tune sessions. “She needs to stay sharp for those grudge races
she will get this year.” Charles stated. Charles has some
plans for “The Enemy” but has yet to reveal them….. “Time
will tell” is all Charles had to say on the topic. Skip plans
to travel with the Team, work schedule permitting, for the
highly anticipated Grudge Racing.
One thing
the team looks forward to most during the season is the comradery
between the regular racers at each event. Priceless friendships
have been made at the track and the team always looks forward
to meeting new and exciting people.
